UK Announces new Defence Drone Strategy

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has launched the United Kingdom’s approach to Defence Uncrewed Systems.  At the heart of this the serious commitment to allocate £4.5 billion to fund R&D and delivery of next generation UAS and C-UAS.  At the heart of this programme is the recognition of the importance the SMEs and their ability to utilise Agile techniques to iteratively deliver on time and to budget. metis welcome this investment and look forward to working with the MoD in the future to deliver battle winning capabilities in the C-UAS and CEMA domains.
