METIS Aerospace Ltd collect and store names, phone numbers, titles, email addresses and company name and contact information.  METIS Aerospace Ltd may also collect feedback, comments and questions on communications, services and products through meetings, phone-calls, documents and emails.  From our website, we may collect IP addresses and actions taken on the site.  METIS Aerospace is not responsible for any comment, post, video or photo that an individual has uploaded to the website or social media pages, which can be read by anyone.    METIS Aerospace collect and retain data on potential employees throughout the application process.  METIS Aerospace does not currently collect any special categories of personal data, such as public unique identifiers or sensitive personal data.  If METIS Aerospace Ltd begin collecting special categories of data, which includes biometric data needed for security purposes, it will be held securely in accordance to GDPR principles.   How is data stored?  All electronic personal data is stored on encrypted files, which are only accessible by authorised personnel holding the necessary passwords. Hard copies are locked in secure filing cabinets and keys are only held by the appropriate members of staff.   

How long is data stored? 

METIS Aerospace store personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which is was collected.  METIS Aerospace consider the need to answer queries or resolve problems and the need to comply with legal requirements under applicable laws.  METIS Aerospace Ltd consider the need to attend any legal claims/complaints and safeguarding purposes. Data may be retained for a reasonable period after the last interaction.  When personal data is no longer required, it is deleted in a secure manner.  We may process data for statistical purposes but in such cases, all data is anonymised.

The use of cookies and beacons 

We use technical cookies for webmaster page editing (session cookies) and we link sites, that may use cookies, but are not under our control or responsibility.  The site also includes third party technical functions in order to improve the service i.e. YouTube video players.  Our YouTube videos have privacy-enhanced mode enabled therefore YouTube won’t store information about our visitors unless they play the video, according to the Google-YouTube guide.
