Project Manager

Metis is a Counter-UAS SME, delivering to multiple customers and working toward a large contract delivery in the near-future. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help set up our plan and develop our project management lifecycle. In this key role, you will lead the planning, execution and delivery of a major contract, while also managing several smaller, early-stage scoping projects. The successful candidate will bring strong project management and planningexperience across the full project lifecycle and be able to prove this confidently during the interview process.

This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Manager who can take ownership and drive a project forward in a multi-discipline engineering / manufacturing business.

• Lead projects from initiation through to completion.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.

• Manage Risks, Issues, Dependencies, and change requests.

• Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders.

• Create a regular reporting cadence.

• Drive process improvements and introduce best practice.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a fast-paced environment

• Broad knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiating skills.

• Clear, concise and SMART communication skills.

• Proficiency in P6 Primavera Planning Tools.

Qualifications

• PMP, APMP, PRINCE2 or recognized equivalent Project Management certification.

• Experienced in manufacturing, software or production.

• Must be a UK resident and, due to the nature of this role, applicants must be eligible to undergo Security Clearance.
